Kengan:

If there is a final, amazing fight in the Kengan series, I will probably animate that. Otherwise, I am not that interested in animating more canon Kengan fights.

I will mull around with the idea of doing some offscreened fights or finishing up Kanoh Agito vs. Lu Tian, which is the most requested fight of all time for me, but the fight choreography is incredibly difficult to understand or make enjoyable to animate due to Formless.

I have some interest in animating non-canon fights as well that viewers can decide matchups for. Are there fighters you wished to have seen fight each other? Wakatsuki Gaolang? Gaolang Hatsumi? Rolon vs. Kuroki? And so forth. I’m not sure how long this interest will last as the quality of Kengan has declined dramatically in years.

Convict Colosseum:

I plan to get through at least R2 in 2026. Fights I foresee giving me some difficulty –

• Florida Man vs. Ice Cream Truck – hallucinations are hard to do, robots are hard to do
• Abyss vs. Tomahawk – I don’t think one is as hard to animate as it is to make watching it actually fun?…It’s an entertaining read in manga format but as stick figures, it’s much harder to understand what is going on without entering into the 3rd axis.
• Karmic Blade vs. Violence Incarnate – the part at the beginning with the sash surrounding Violence Incarnate is hard to imagine doing correctly. Maybe a low opacity layer going across the camera?
